However far you’ve come, there’s a seat already saved for you. Here’s everything you need for your first Sunday at God’s Redeeming Temple.
Before you walk in
What that first Sunday is actually like
Most people tell us the hardest part was the parking lot — the few minutes before they walked in, wondering whether they would know anyone, whether they were dressed right, whether they would be asked to stand up and say who they were. None of that happens. You walk in, someone says good morning, and you find a seat.
You will not be singled out, put on a mailing list you did not ask for, or handed a giving envelope on your way past the door. Come, sit at the back if you would rather, and leave when the service ends. If you want to talk to someone afterwards there will be people glad to; if you would rather slip out quietly, that is a completely normal way to spend a first Sunday.
What to expect on a Sunday
Come as you are
What you need to bring
Just you, exactly as you are this morning. Everything else — the seat, the welcome, the coffee — is already handled.
